One of those stocks that you watch

Open
- AMD choppy at the open is what I saw, finally started to develop some type of direction. First entry on the attempt to break above VWAP that ultimately got strongly reversed. First entry on the retraction back 137, strong indication. Price action broke down, my second entry slipped a good amount bc the break as so fast, didnt get as nice a fill as I would have wanted to at the break of 136.5. Gave another entry on the retract retest again towards 136, the price action was a nice direction towards PDDC. However, now that im looking back, I can see that the entries I was taking was definitely extended from my first entry, I averaged myself down a good amount. Ill keep an eye on the range better, but AMD has a pretty nice ATR and we were only 1$ away from the open so whoknows, could have gone either way. Got out on the price action consolidating sideways and breaking out into the 136.5 level. Good loss, appropriate size position.
Reflection
- 3 indicators? Yes, first entry called for.
- Scaling? Yes, indicators called for but possibly extended from my initial entry?
- Partials? NO.
- Risk management? Out on the change of direction and break into the 136.5 level again.
- What went right/wrong? Trade idea was valid, scaling wasnt as well executed as i thought it was in the moment.
- Successful trade? Yes, emotions in check, traded the technicals however need to be aware of the entry distances.
