- BIG mistake here was not knowing my stop! The most reasonable stop would have been right below the VWAP but I got out at the bottom of the range that I must have been looking at. Gave up all the gains from this morning and some with this one move. Sure it would have been a loser but it would have been a controlled and accounted for loss. Not good.
Reflection
- 3 indicators? yes, first entry called for.
- Scaling? Second entry shortly after that on the new 2 minute candle that broke up higher, looked like a higher level break.
- Partials? no.
- Risk management? Terrible. The stop idea was not reasonable and very very extended.
- What went right/wrong? Trade execution was miscalculated and amateur.
- Successful trade? No. Emotions not in check, how could I not know where my risk is? If I believe that the market is truly unpredictable how could I not cover my ass in this unpredictability.
