- Price action on the daily looked nice. I had planned to take an upside trade if the price action broke up above the range AND the previous day high. On the daily it looked like a potential for a nice retract retest an break higher. Took a first entry on the break of the level of the previous day high. The price action held for a couple seconds and I thought it supportive to take a second entry considering it was continuing to rally up. Let the price action continue to sustain, it retracted back to the previous day high but not enough to stop me out or reject the idea. New candle opened and broke up higher above the previous candle, took my third and final entry, had full size position. The price action broke up, took first partial at 2R, levels were still looking positive for the upside potential, held and took partials as it broke up higher. Eventually got a reversal indicator, got out. Nice trade.

- 3 indicators? Yes, first entry called for.
- Scaling? yes, additional entries on the volume break, higher candle break and candle closing on higher levels.
- Partials? yes, first at 2R and the rest as the price action continued to break up.
- Risk management? Yes, knew my stop before I got into the trade (below the PDH, at most to VWAP) and knew where my stop was after scaling in at breaking up. Partials at the opportunities that the market provided to me.
- What went right/wrong? Trade idea and execution valid.
- Successful trade? Yes, emotion in check and traded my edge 100%.
