- Flipped my position to the downside after the downside break of the bottom of the consolidation range. Second entry right after that on it breaking the opening low. Took third entry on the price action breaking even lower and making a lower low. The price action held sideways but showed a resistance as it retracted to the VWAP. It broke down again and the target was the bottom of the PD low. DIdnt managed to get down that low, took partials at the bottom of the range and held onto the rest towards the break even near VWAP. It bounced off the VWAP again as to reject it and took a fourth entry on that VWAP bounce. However, it was just a pullback for a further move to the upside. I got out past my break even and left money on the table with this trade. Could have managed this trade better in terms of the partials.
Reflection
- 3 indicators? Yes, flip trade to the downside after the upside rejection and downside lower levels.
- Scaling? Yes, first entry called for, additional entries on the slide with volume.
- Partials? At the bottom of the leg. the rest could have been at the break even but it wasnt.
- Risk management? Not good with the partialing.
- What went right/wrong? Trade idea and scaling, the last partials was not.
- Successful trade? In terms of partials no.
