- Second attempt at the downside break. First entry on the price action false break above the VWAP. Second entry on letting the price action break below the bottom of the range I wanted it to get out of. Third entry in the momentum break to make a lower low. Price action did break down but with not enough commitment. I think others saw the lack of resolve too, price action rejected back to my break even, wasn’t convinced anymore. Out break even.
Reflection
- 3 indicators? yes, first entry called for.
- Scaling? yes, second and third entry on lower low + volume slide.
- Partials? no.
- Risk management? out break even. Knew where my stop was.
- What went right/wrong? trade idea and execution valid, didn’t pan out.
- Successful trade? yes, emotions in check, trade execution and risk management good.
