Failed gap n go. I jumped the gun on the entry and took a position that was much too large to handle at this hour and so I took a big loss on it right off the bat which caused me to revenge trade it as soon as it reversed. I took another loss on the revenge trade and then deleted it from my list so it didn't get any more out of control. Not a good way to start the day but I came back to finish with about $1k in gains so oh well!

Lol yeah, my main issue is I take way too many shares in the morning. I actually have tons of data saying I make most of my money between 10am-1pm, yet I still stupidly take a $20k position at 9:37am. Just bad discipline. But I had a couple other nice $500 trades today to make up for this turd! Thanks for the comment.
This thing had volume today but on 5 min didn't seem to move much relative to overnight move.

Good recovery on your day! In your mind, if not your bank account, you can think, "I made $1500 today." Ha.
I find I have to constantly remind myself to wait for the morning setups when the markets first open. Glad to know I'm not the only one who does this. Did pretty much the exact same thing this morning.
