VIPS Trade on Sep 25, 2013 10:22 from ckz8780: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Daily bounce play. I tried to snag this around 57.15 but the stock is very thin and this just happened to be where I got filled. It worked out and I was able to dump a few into the spike above $57.50 but since it was so wild and I got a much higher entry than I wanted I sold after it got driven back down from the top of the big spike. The same thing happened with the second trade (a high fill) so I became frustrated and sold. Finally, on the third trade I decided to anticipate the spike and did so successfully with a very small position just to lock in a quick profit. These were not terrible trades but this is a tricky stock to play and it was not the cleanest setup. Original stop onthe $57.31 entry was under the rising trend of the bear flag. It's worth noting that looking back at this trade it was in fact a bear flag and should not have really been a long where I took it.

I disagree. I personally hate this entry. I wanted it like 15-20c lower, but it is a thin stock. If you look at the money I made vs. my drawdown based on the chart it was not good r/r at all. In the candle after I entered at the base of it I was down almost $300 and only took $200 total across multiple trades. Just being self-critical :)
