One of those stocks that you watch
Open
- Was watching TSLA, took the first entry on the break below the VWAP and into yesterday's close. The price action gave a mini retraction that opened up a minute later to break down even lower. Didnt get the chance to take a third entry because of the significance of the move at that point so I was dialed in for two positions. Took first partial at the yesterday's low of the day was watching the rest of the price action, it was very supportive of the downside move, held the position and it broke down even lower, took second partial at the bottom of the move. Third partial at the equal retraction of that last candle break down, out on the rest on a retract retest to the upside, reversing the direction of the movement now.
Reflection
- 3 indicators? Yes, first entry called for.
- Scaling? yes, second entry on the retract retest break down.
- Partials? At the significant levels and opportunities the price action was giving me in the moment.
- Risk management? Appropriate trade execution with scaling and partials.
- What went right/wrong? Trade execution and risk management was good.
- Successful trade? yes, emotion in check and trade execution on point.
