• Chill premarket on the long weekend ahead. Not much significant price action showing in the large caps but I liked what TSLA CGC and NVDA were doing in their daily and premarket levels. TSLA trading around the 177.50 level that I was seeing support of on the daily level. First two candles wicked down and came right back to the upside. took the first entry on the first candle doing that and the second candle doing the same on that type of price action, seemed positive in the moment for the break out but did not resolve and broke down below the bottom of the range set at the open. Stopped out, small loser. Called for.

Reflection

- 3 indicators? Yes, I was watching the price action at the open and the opening candle were giving me strong support around the 177 and bouncing off the level very aggressively, seemed like a possible upside continuation. Did not resolve.

- Scaling? Yes, additional entry on the break higher into the higher 177s which ultimately wicked down again to doji the candle.

- Partials? no did not take a partial, not sufficient movement for my first partial around 2R.

- Risk management? Proper reading, position sizing and stop loss respected.

- What went right/wrong? Trade idea and execution was called for, did not pan out immediately but did soon after in the following trade.

- Successful trade? Yes, emotion in check, trading the technical. Knowing that it was a slower moving day, it probably would have been best to have more patience for a stronger indication.
