This was definitely a riskier setup and I probably should not have gone in with 100% buying power like I did on this trade. I went in for a micro-pullback scalp like on the last CHCI trade earlier that day. Scalped for a rough 10-15 cent move for $302.74 in net realized gains.
This was a great start to the year. Overall, I was feeling quite fearful of taking a loss. My major fear was to take a loss on the first trading day of the year because I thought that that would have set a precedence for profitably going forward, and to some extent, I allowed that fear to keep me out of more profitable setups later in the day. After this trade on CHCI, I felt quite euphoric, and there was a setup I missed because of my momentary distraction. Need greater self-control.
