STXS Trade on Oct 23, 2013 10:51 from markmandy54_BOWS: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Missed the big move but this thing kept riding up the 9MA. Waited for flag and long off 9MA P/B as it bounced. Stop -.10, Targets +.15, +.30, +.50, and swing rest if stays strong.

I looked at 30 min and looked SO extended so took off B/E. I micromanaged this trade as even though huge run on 30 min. it is still riding up the 9MA with light volume P/B and big volume push. STAY THE COURSE!

Why did't you Mark put your stop loss exactly at the buy price? From the look at the chart you have put it a bit higher just so you got stopped out, too bad :/

It's tough to justify holding something like this but like you said, stay the course. Your risk was mitigated and it seems like emotionally you just had not convinced yourself it was a good trade. I passed on this at $3.96 since it was "too extended" off the $3.86 breakout lol
