Opening Weakness

Trade Idea:

VRX was rejected from the 18.80 area, so I decided to get short. I shorted at 18.73, and the stock failed to move above the 18.80 area. I wanted to add to the position, but it never gave me the opportunity to add. There was a wash, and that is where I took the first half off.

Risk Management:

I was risking off the 18.97 area. Above that price I would have been wrong about the trade. I would have looked to long if the 18.80 area turned from resistance to support

Improvement:

-DO NOT LET THE 2ND HALF RUN LIKE THAT
When you see the stock bottom at 18.30 area then you should look to cover
-Be more alert when you trade
Do not put on a position and wait for it to work. Read the tape and see what is happening
-Be attentive to the stock later on in the day. If it is weak it might head lower in the PM hours
