Today was not the day to trade the small-caps, but in hindsight, it really was not the day for you to trade against the market on ETF's or proxy names either. It is not your strategy. You have not paper-traded it, but I decided to go for it anyways. I noticed that switching back and forth between high momentum, small-caps, and shorting proxy names was difficult for me. Plus, you need more sophisticated charting tools for the shorting strategy, which I do not have.

First trade was on TVIX three minutes into the open. I saw that the SPY looked prepped to drop on an inverted candle coming into a bear flag. Traded for a profitable scalp of $23.67.
