Another, more risky setup on a 1-minute micro-pullback scalp setup. In and out. 5-second scalp for a $91.74 profit.

I was also watching APRN for the daily flat top breakout at $3.60, which it broke but not with very much momentum. It was a bit later in the day and it was a higher float stock. This was also hard to trade because it just kept grinding up slowly without much price range, so I decided to stay away from it.

I closed with $211.12 in net profits today, and am up about $300 for the week. The markets open on Tuesday after President's Day holiday. The strategy going forward is to keep trading scalp setups and slowly build up this account.

Small profits really do add up as you gain 6 times leverage for each dollar of profit you make with Suretrader. I also filed a ticket with Suretrader to request renegotiating my commission structure. They said that I can benefit from better commissions the more volume I trade, so the goal is to try to reach 250k average monthly trading volume by continuing to trade scalp setups that yield more buying power in order to take larger positions. That way, commissions will make less of a percentage of my total losses--they're about 50% right now--and will hopefully make me a consistently profitable trader going forward.
