the stock had been tapping 14.29 all day, entered on a break of it, sold half on a spike and got stopped on 2nd half.

I took this exact trade .It was sloppy action but you milked it for what it had. Tricky cause it didn't give me anywhere near 2:1 r/r so I couldn't justify selling any. I got out later for like a 3c loss.
the break of 14.29 was nowhere near as strong as I expected it to be so I decided to sell half just in case.
