ROKU:

Had news about an upgrade in its stock, did higher relative volume. Looked weak on the daily and I noticed that although it gapped up, the stock easily broke through the $35.00 level in the opening session.

9:43- I was looking to short the retest of resistance at $35, and I passively placed an order to short 300 shares at $34.83, a bit below the $35 figure.
- Buy stop was placed at $35.08, so I was risking $75.
- Passively placed an order to cover 200 at $34.12 (my first initial target was $34).

9:56- Covered 200 shares at $34.12, trailed stop loss to 100 shares at $34.67.

10:08- Trimmed 50 shares at $34.40 on the pullback, not sure if this was a good move...did not touch remaining 50 share stop loss.

11:31-11:46- Saw big green volume shoot up from $34 level, decided to stay since it was small size, and did not want to miss the opportunity for it to break $34. Trailed stop loss to $34.42.

11:49- ROKU broke down further, and trimmed 25 shares at $33.88.

12:03- Trimmed 10 shares at $33.65, trailed remaining to $34.05. Stopped out of remaining at 12:14, capturing 2.84 on this trade.

1. Start establishing some rules in catching/learning how to play reversals to capitalize on both sides of the trade.

2. RR setup in gapped up stock worked this time but having a target makes it much easier to manage.
