Flagging on 5min and holding the VWAP. Stop -.30, Target +.65, +1. Not happy with my buy placement. I should have waited as nice run on stops. I rationalized as long as held 31 i'd stay the course but that would have been my absolute max pain. I'm happy with the pattern but not with my execution.

WEEKEND REVIEW LESSON:
1 - While price is still in consol, look for clues (lower highs) for which way may resolve.

Execution detail:

Does not look like the cleanest flag. While the stock was coiling the red bars were larger than the green bars. Could indicate the flag was weak.

Ya, my entry was late or early depending on what P/B you look at. The 2 minute looked sexy as it pulled back to VWAP on lower volume but i missed the entry. Bad entry on my part either way you look at it.

Ya you got in a little high. I traded this thing today too. I got in @ 31.50, I think 15 minutes later. I ended selling flat when it spike (31.90ish) then came back to 31.50. Your stop is a little too tight on this stock. I ended up only trading 200 shares as my stop was 31.00 which is my max lost ($100). Something tells me you were trading 300.

Also i could have .50 cent to my stop because my first target was 30.50 then 32.57

Trade a better setup next. I went in as Kunal did, else I never would have.

before I even read the comments my two thoughts were A) tight too stop and B) entered about 3 candles too early. Interesting observatoin by Ben on the red bars being larger than the green bars, I hadn't thought of that as something to consider.

Not your bad at all. Jim Cramer taught me years ago to take responsibility for all the trades I take. I actually really liked this over 31, and that nice pullback. My entry was not good but ok with the stop.
