FENG Trade on Nov 15, 2013 09:33 from mattytrump_BOWS: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Open range breakout. This one stopped me out. I should have bought again at 10 before it's REAL breakout but I didn't. The problem I seem to have with ORB's is where to set my stop. Lots of volatility early in the morning, I had my stop set just below the open.

Best to wait for the 2nd candle when playing the ORB on 5min chart.

Nape beat me to it.. but yes, I don't buy the first candle.. at least I've have never made a good trade whenever I buy the 1st candle. Congrats on ur first trade.. many such as Nape above have helped me w/ simply questions asking me or tips .. so I will do the same to others who begin this journey. ... since u bot first candle, I would have stopped out when 2nd candle broke below low of first candle.

ORB gotta wait at least 10 minutes to have the play be valid. Kept chewing away at that 10 and got tight. That was the entry. Nice find.
