TSLA

Did not want to make the same mistake as yesterday and get caught up in the middle of the range. Support target was $295 to go long, and had a plan to buy as close as possible to that price, exit target was initially $300, $309 if it continued to go up, and would enter again/adjust plan if another opportunity presented itself.

Caught a good entry price at the market open, as TSLA washed down.
9:31- Long 100 shares at $295.13, stop was at $293.13. Based on my previous experience trading TSLA last week I needed to give it room ($1-$2 point risk).

Trailed stop to $293.64 as the bottom formed.

Held my position and closed out at $299, capturing 2R.

Tried to go long again at 10:04, long 10 shares at $299.96- pullback into support setup.

Put a sell stop for half my position at $301.20 (10:29).

Closed last remaining shares at $301.46, because it broke the upward trendline and there was divergence on RSI. Thought of switching gears and wanted to go short.

In retrospect, since the up move was rather steep, next time it may be a good idea to go back long again seeing that there was a healthy $2-$3 pullback.
If I were to play the range today, I would rather go in the direction of the trend, and there were multiple chances to execute range trades.
