TSLA
My plan today was to buy $295 support after the morning sell-off; instead, it ripped through support. My sell-stop loss did not work initially and I had to take a bigger loss than intended.
Should have shorted the pullback, since it broke $295. Target should have been $280 afterwards.
- Next time will target previous lows recently- in this case, $290 from 5 days ago.
- My second attempt to enter the trade to the downside was in the right direction but there wasn't a strong enough catalyst for the price of TSLA to be pushed down to $280. Need to be realistic on how much it can move when the relative volume is not that high.
