Gapper with flat top intraday. Stop -.20, Target +.40, +.75, +1. Ran up to +.35 from entry and rolled over. Kept stop in place as felt may backtest 18 and bounce but didn't. Lost the rising trendline. SHOULD HAVE LOOKED FOR SHORT ON LOSS OF T/L AND 18.

Agree Sayed, now i beg the question, what kept me from shorting the breakdown of 17.50. Always looking to push myself to learn and this was a great lesson. Once tested intraday lows, formed bear flag and i missed that.

well its human psychology . We tend to get frozen and then we think its too late to short.

Exactly, that's what i'm looking to overcome. You, Kunal, and MB have been awesome in helping raise that awareness level. I'm putting in the time in hopes to going live (and being consistent) in 2014. I can't tell you how much i appreciate your comments and critiques as they are instrumental in my growth.

I do the same Mark, but I'm getting better at it. It's like being slapped in the face and then realizing you now have to turn and face the person who slapped you, lol... Complete reversal of what our nature wants us to do.

Good job getting out without disaster! I did the same thing on Fri with PBYI Mark. I saw a bear flag on the morning intraday after a big run up and thought it was going to snap back. But it bounced instead and I watched it run up by $12 all day and just kept staring at the chart, frozen like a deer in headlights!
