I got greedy and didn't take profits at that first spike, expecting it to go even lower. I exited entirely when price crossed above the 9ema and picked up some green volume.

Micromanaged the trade. This was the day that I decided to switch look at the 10-min chart more often than the 5-min, and NEVER the 3-min. 3-min chart makes me too nervous.
