MPC Trade on Jan 9, 2014 14:19 from EL_BOWS: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Looked like a bear flag. Tapped 9 EMA and didn't hold so I bought expecting a flush. Instead, next candle it busted above the 9 EMA, so I sold. When it stopped popping I re-bought because it was such a low volume move to the upside and had the 50 riding above it. It immediately cracked the 50 so I got out.

No short setup on daily chart.

I believe I picked this one up mid day in a scan for stocks up more than 4%, but you're right, there wasn't a daily pattern.
