ERROR is daily gapping into resistance

Daily chart gapped up at the open - ERROR TRADE - the gap was not more than 3%, and the gap was right into the 9EMA. Should not have been on the list.
Intraday was a quick pullback. Vol was lighter on pullback, green candle held at the 9EMA, entered at break of previous candle, stop under the range.
$2.00 risk for 50 shares
There was a spike down that stopped me and then the trade went $3 up. Other than a bad daily the intraday entry was solid.
Learning experience.
