ALNY Trade on Jan 13, 2014 10:12 from EL_BOWS: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

First trade was good. Bought in flag, scaled out for scalp (it was extended on entry). Everything went to crap from there even though the theory was sound. For $.10 on my stop, I missed a $9 rip down.

Second trade: greed. Too many shares, stop too tight. Bought into bear flag as it tapped 9EMA and started to fall. Shaken out next candle (stop at 97.08, HIGH of the day from that candle on: 97.18). What to learn here? Help me people. It seems like I'm usually in good stocks and what I think will happen, happens, but WITHOUT me cause I'm shaken out. Smaller positions would prevent this, and greed prevents those.

Third trade: In after big crack down, but way too heavy for a volatile stock like this. Covered into spike down, covered rest as it rose above my buy (flat trade).

Fourth trade: In on bear flag. Sold into spike, then again as it rose. When it kept going down, re-entered at exactly the wrong time to have it squeeze for two candles and hit my max loss.

Seems like my REASON TO SELL is always "hit my damn max loss."
