Super!

Nice trade. I don't mind getting stopped out on those ORB's as they can reverse quickly.

Question: how is your stop -$0.50 when the nearest support is $1.10 away? Where is the probability in that? Just something to consider. The action you saw (quick pop and fade) is the exact reason I didn't take this trade. You have all day to get into these things. I'd rather wait til it is in a $0.20 range and hit it with 1k shares and let it run for 2 bucks later in the afternoon!

@ckz8780 When you say that you would wait till it trades in a 20cent range, do you mean a 20cent range from the previous support or it trades in a 20cent range for a certain amount of time? thanks!

Well if you look at the 5 min chart when Mark entered, the range of that first candle was like 2 bucks! I wanna see candles for an extended period of time that are tapping highs and only have a range of like 10-20 cents, so I know I have super tight risk. That's when you can really hammer it. My ATHN trade from the other day was a good example. Even on a $165 stock the candles when I entered were only like a buck or less, so I could hit it bigger. On some stocks this will allow you to take a huge position and end up with like 10:1 r/r.

I've found on these plays to use a tight stop as in my experience they go quick if they're ready. Therefore my stop was the mid point of the candle that brought it back up over 74. These ORB's off of a catalyst have been flying lately.
