Was this a valid setup for daylong consolidation??? Clearly it didn't work but did I have the right idea here?

I believe you entered at a reasonable flag breakout spot. The daily shows no resistance. Day long consolidation didn't happen for quite some time aftre yoru entry. I'm not looking at any other indicators other than Tradervue charts above, but it may be one to watch tomorrow
