When I can't set both a LMT sell and a STP due to ToS not having shares available to borrow, I have a problem: I have to choose one or the other. I almost always choose the STP. This is the result sometimes: I don't have a limit set, I get busy with other stocks or life, and come back to it to find that I missed the run. What do you do about this? (Other than the obvious: less stocks at once.)
First buy in flag with MAs underneath. Sell into spike, then stopped out the rest.
Entered another position (and re-upped) as it broke over the MAs and then flagged. Broke to the downside, scaled out.
