BABA Trade on Oct 12, 2018 09:35 from boldandnuts: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

BABA gapped up with the market over night and I had it due for a bounce and maybe even for a test of the daily EMA9 at 150s.

BABA opened strong and I missed the entry to the short side. As support I had 145 and 143 on my map. When BABA showed some support at 146ish, I opened a starter at 146.50s anticipating a decision-candle almost knowing I would be early.

BABA bounced and I did not add at the high of the decision-candle.

I had the VWAP in mind as Target and wanted to see how it would react there. BABA just spiked up close and I took a partial for 50ct. To take some off and see whether BABA would be strong and move higher. BABA dropped and my exit turned out to be good.

I kept the rest of the position on and had 145 in mind for the next add and watch BABA at 146. Maybe for a double bottom.

BABA found some support at 146 bounced a bit without direction and I was not comfortable to add and waited.

When BABA finally moved below 146, but had trouble to go much further down, I decided to add another piece.

Timing was really good and BABA moved up with the market and I had the confluence of the EMAs and VWAP in mind as a first target but took my first partial a bit too early.

As for the rest, I had 147.50 written down as a level from the previous days. Took the trade off there in 2 steps when BABA seemed to have found some resistance.
Turned out to be the right spot. Good Trade :-)
