AMD Trade on Oct 25, 2018 09:33 from boldandnuts: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

AMD gapped down after reporting Earnings right down to its SMA200 at 16.84.

AMD already had sold off hard the night before and I had a retest of the SMA200 in mind for a bounce.

18.90 was its premarket high and I had 20, 22 (SMA100) and 24 marked down for possible resistance. To the downside the SMA200 and 15.50 and 14.75 below for support.

As for trade Management I really did very good. I remained calm and objective not worried at all as I kept my size way too low. I wasn't sure about what size to take and started with increments of 30 and now wrote down to go with 50.

However, I had a long bias and AMD was strong out of THE OPEN, but I really thought we'd see a test of the SMA200 and initiated a short as we came to pre-market highs. Being too early on the first entry.

I scaled in whenever I saw a spike or some sort of resistance. Confident we would see a retest of VWAP I just took off half at break-even as my position felt rather big with 150 shares.

To cut it short, I did not like how AMD traded. It rejected 20$ and I used that level to increase my average. Good spot.

As my average was poor, I eventually took off AMD net-break-even at VWAP. Better opportunities on the other stocks and I wasted too many executions on this one.
