I actually entered above resistance... but the tape wasn't really confirming enough supply. And the bids were holding up too much.. and could have definitely just hit out quickly here, but didn't.
I added another lot at 321... which was yesterday's high... which was a good spot to enter... however, I was too early... I didn't wait for the wick out and then offers rushing in and pushing down.Had I waited for that to add, then I could have maybe added at the appropriate time and made money on the reversal back down to VWAP. But overall, this stock has shown relative strength in a very bearish environment, so trying to short this stock is not the best play and reduces my overall chances of success (on the short side).. Now had I switched bias and played the VWAP bounce long, I could have made some really nice gains as the stock rocketed up to 330. So it's ok to get it wrong on a few small stops early.. but because I had taken too big of a loss early, I lost my chance to make it back. I ran out of chips for the day.

I think the takeaway from this week was key: Understanding the general market environment and adjusting risk rules accordingly. I failed to do that this week. I was trading too much size without hard stops. Generally, individual stocks are not going to follow their typical patterns and the reversals won't be as easy to predict as they are susceptible to the general market moves which are all over the place. So, this week I will be trading smaller size to allow for wider stops. Also, cannot add to losers no matter what... because stocks can and will move well beyond their typical ATR.
