BABA Trade on Nov 2, 2018 09:36 from boldandnuts: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

BABA had good volume during premarket as it also reported Earnings. However it did not show much of a gap and traded right around a pivot of 155.50 at the Open.

I had 150 and 147.50 for support below and 155.50 161 above for resistance.

$BABA rejected 153 at the Open on a short spike and attempt to break out higher. Then it sold off rather hard. I watched BABA at 150, but as the VWAP was right around the same level I had no interest of any position.

Instead I waited to see how BABA would behave around 147.50.

I missed the initial test of 147.50 and already was a bit disappointed of missing it, but kept watching it. BABA made an attempt higher but had no follow through, just to spike below 147.50, but immediately found a bid above 147.10s.
On the fast move back above 147.50s, the bid moved above 147.50, I took a starter long.

This turned out to be the Bottom and BABA made a strong quick move up. I took partials at 149 and 149.80 at VWAP.

Honestly I did not expect it to move that fast and I took more off at 150.50s and below 152. Good Trade :-)
