I was setting up for a short / afternoon flush as this had been on watchlist for many reasons for the day. Last night I put it on my list as it was having an earnings announcement today, oversold stochastics, and had a 20 dma bounce potential. In the morning I found it on the premarket top losers and decided to watch it for a short. I had to take my daughters to school so I didn't catch the big opening range breakdown but I thought I would try a little bit later in the day for a quick short. The MAs were above it and it didn't seem to be able to break resistance so I entered for the short. This broke (gapped) the opposite I thought it was going to go.
