1st trade of the day and I was waiting for it to break range to enter.

Got stopped out

I've seen stocks that look like this that continued to go up - what was the difference in this one?

Trade didn't work because I didn't look at the daily chart for resistance: sitting right at 20sma with plenty of resistance overhead,

It did break over the 20sma and that should have been support, but it broke that price support which I should have been aware of.

I did a great job of managing risk.
