I don't think it is a bad play if you had your stop at the right place. I am seeing a lot of these just making lower highs all day and not necessarily flushing but just grind lower and lower so I just wait as long as my stop doesn't get hit.

My entry wasn't a high probability one though, that's where i have the issue. Other then that i totally agree with you.
