Bear Flag

This was a earnings breakout and it gapped up pretty huge, but I noticed that it couldn't push threw its MAs, so I went short at the break of that flag.

Small gain then stopped out about even. Wondering if this is an appropriate position to take in this situation when the stock gapped up so high.
