bull flag/flat top

I realize that this one was slightly extended, but it did take a nice breather, then broke up above the that flat top, which is where I got in, then it tanked.

One mistake I made for sure on this one is that I ignored the huge volume on that one red candle, I just thought it was still in play. I also missed the 1-2-3 reversal as well as I just watched it develop and didn't take the position.

Any other thoughts on why this might not have worked?

Yeah it was way to extended to buy that high flag.
