ESH9 Trade on Jan 4, 2019 09:52 from Smilee: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

5 trades today. First three were profitable. Last two were not. First trades used 2 contracts and the rest used 1 contact.

Trade 1:
First 30 mins was trending upward and at high of day. chart seemed clear of restistance. I saw a setup at 952 that had potential. It pulled back exactly to the 50% Fib level. Just seeing now that for some reason trade executed at 2494.25 limit. I either put it wrong spot or I chased....pretty sure I put in at wrong spot. proper limit would be 2493.25. 4 ticks wasted there.

Good exit would have been 1 at 2498 and hold one for exit on new swing low. I was nervous after such a bad December so I probably just took all profit when it hit a dollar amount I was ok with. I didnt use pre-planned limit order...just got out quick. This worked out best for me this time as the pattern broke down to losses after that.

Lessons learned...be careful on entry..lost 4 ticks. use limit to exit...lost 3 ticks.
