FB Trade on Jan 11, 2019 11:51 from boldandnuts: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

FB ranged between 142.70ish and 143.70ish on low volume in the morning before breaking out.

When it got close to the previous days close at 144.20 that confluenced with my pivots I had at 144.50 to 145 I started to watch closely.

Still volume was rather low and trading slow. FB started to hesitate once above 144 and began to form a decision candle. When FB made another attempt higher on the next candle, but could not lift further to start selling I took a starter. It dropped, but found support in the .80s and I really wanted to see at least .70 or half dollar for a partial.

Really should have taken off the trade here break even as sticking to this piece worsened my average price at the end. FB made a backside move and formed another candle but it was just a pullback. breaking its highs here at 144 was a clear signal to exit.

However I stuck with it and did really good for the next add!

FB consolidated below 144.50 and it really looked like it would drop. It did not! I was not faked in to add here. Really good, Markus!!! patience!!!

Instead I waited for 145 and placed an offer below that. It spiked in and I got filled but was full of worries.

For a moment FB respected the full dollar, but found support again for another move up.

My next pivot was at 146 and i was willing to wait.

However, FB formed another beautiful rejection decision-candle at 145.20s. I waited and used a quick drop of the lows for an entry. i was faked in here as the bid and offer dropped lows, but stepped back up to make another attempt.

I stuck with it. Then FB dropped like a hot stone. I took my partial at 144.80 where we saw previous support. Just to see it drop further where FB did not make it to my 144.50 target.

I stuck with it and did not add back on the retest of highs for whatever reason...

eventually took off the trade as it looked like the 144.60 level is the support it would hold. Slow trading today. Really frustrating.
