Daily chart resistance at 29. Gap up over 5%. I was looking for the stock to run to around 29 resistance with an ATR of .86 and open around 28. I had already made some cushion trading this premarket off .80 cents. I got long the first 1m green candle as I expected the stock to hold that same .80 cents area from pre market. I was trying to limit my risk so I keep adding and taking size off when it didn't go. Given how thick the stock is I need to give it below the range a bit before taking size off. The best spot for size was that 5 bar consolidation at 28 and break above. I should have added a lot more size with .05 cents or so risk. Good job scaling out into the first up move. I really did a poor job following the stock on the pull into VWAP. I went to another name and missed the hold at VWAP + higher low. That's another trade I should have taken with good size. I have to be better about setting alerts at levels I want to re enter a stock since my target was much higher. Overall, I made a really nice trade but the takeaway here is when a stock is working for you keep playing it.
