TWTR tried inching higher but could not hold above 33, an important level from days prior; the market was also inching into VWAP. TWTR had a distribution pattern forming and my intuition led me to believe it was weak; I identified a tight risk:reward short opportunity, so I shorted at 32.98 with stop at 33.02. I did not add to this trade, but I had ample time to do so, especially considering my conviction grew when it quickly dipped to 32.90 and made its first lower low before the lower high. I took partials when 32.90 broke, and more on a second leg down. I took the rest off when my final target was reached, the 32.60s/trendline from low of day to the higher low. I really should have left some shares on, as I left a lot on the table; had I added at the retest of 33.00 I probably would have been more patient with this one.
