STock run up to resistance 41.25 and created a nice flag. Flag was holding 39.90. At the moment I did not realize how overextended it was ( it run from 32 to 42). I bought at 40.20. This little flag broke down on small volume and I decided to keep even though my stop was at 30.80 and stop was violated. MISTAKE. This turned out to be the biggest looser of the day. Thank god I bought only 50 shares.
I had other chance to sell it at 40.20 and get rid off it but the small run came with huge volume so I expected more upside.
But no. STock pulled back and took out my second support at 39.30.
I was trying to get rid of it with LIMIT order which did not go through. Finally I ended with big loss.
This is learning lesson for me. When I want to dump something I have to use MARKET orders.
Set up: So so (I did not realize how overextended it was)
Stop: 30.80
Entry: Too high
Exit: Too low
