BABA Trade on Jan 28, 2019 10:31 from boldandnuts: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

Again.. just lost all I typed before...

BABA gapped down over night as well and sold off into the open to chop around on NVDA news to find a bottom and bounce. As there was no clean entry I did not take a trade here and watched BABA trade higher to ignore it at VWAP. Good call.

Support 157.50 156 154 153
Resistance 159.50 160.50 165

When it traded towards 157.50 I watched closer to wait for a decision-candle. At the full dollar of 158 I saw it hesitate. Level was tested and there were a few prints but most prints were below and we retested several times trading in the .90s.

Placed an offer just below 158 and was filled with a hard stop just above 158. Took way too low size though. But I was "scared" we would lift, break the level, just to resume lower moments later as BABA was already extended and that is what happens way too often.

Not this time. Level respected. BABA sold off after trying to break 158 after my entry.

First profit moments too early on retest of .60s and later break of .50 upwards.

Last Exit perfect on the small decision-candle at the EMAs. Great trade. Work on sizing!!!
