Like I wrote in the journal, I am devastated and lost confidence in my appraoch after taking that hit in FB and WHR. Bad luck on the latter.

Trying with tighter stops and focus on risk I lose track of how the stock trades. Get too focused on where to enter and the tape. Rather than stick to half/full dollar levels and support areas.

AAPL reported Earnings the night before and so did many others. First trade at 10am for me here.

Support 162-.50 160 158.13

When AAPL traded below the intraday trendline falling to around 161 I watched closer and took an entry on the break of highs on a decision-candle. AAPL rejected 161 to trade lower. I stopped out by sticking to a stop based on the ATR-Risk approach. Not giving it more room.

Just to re-enter cents higher as I hit the low. great :-/ Stop out again. Eventually jumping in when AAPL spiked lower on the break of support and started to reverse hard. I anticipated the break of the half dollar to the upside and jumped in with half a tier. Good!

Trade stuck! Now it was going. Worried about size I took profits way too early.
