AT&T had earnings, and missed expectations for subscriber growth, which gave me a short bias in the name. At the open, it washed pretty aggressively and I missed the move, no big deal. I saw later in the day that it had put some wicky/stuffy candles on heavy volume, so I was very interested in a short. I started in at 29.53, and added another lot at 29.50 with risking at 29.55ish, which was one of the many lower highs that it formed in this seemingly endless downtrend. I took partials on the first wash when the .38 bid seemed to be holding, and decided to add some shares back at .48, risking off .52, since the .51 offer wasn't lifting. I took those shares back off when it came back to .38. It washed some more, and now the .30 offer was the line in the sand, so I decided to take on even more risk with a stop at .31 for the whole position. It washed even more to new lows (within this trend, not LOD), and I lightened up a lot. 29.24 had been holding so I put a stop for the rest at 29.25, but I initially had it at 29.31. I sort of micromanaged this last portion I guess, but the stock only made new lows once more before reversing.

Hi Jake,
Nice trades and the reasons behind them. I like your journaling and I am taking a page from you to put more detail and shade more light in areas I had previously overlooked.
Curious, are you part of the current crop of SMB traders? Do you mind sharing a little bit more about your trading style etc
