AAPL is just not my friend.
Resistance 167.50 169 172-172.50 174.70
AAPL traded into 167.50ish and formed a tiny candle of indecision that I used for an Entry.
Good Entry, but no follow through. AAPL spiked down to find a bid and continue higher. Bad Exit as I HAD to exit break-even!
AAPL was really strong and I knew this was going to be a loser. Well deserved.
Into 168 I added without a clear decision-candle. Moments later it spiked higher eventually forming one, but again finding a bid. Wait for your moment, Markus!
Minutes later there was a Decision-Candle above 168.30 forming and I did not use to add not knowing how far it would run. Wanted to see consolidation. A range form. I was patient now.
169 was the next pivot and I wanted it to see tested! Even though AAPL formed a nice decision-candle at 168.50 I did not use the crack for an add as my average was just a desaster and adding would not have made it much better.
Watched the selloff and it was all about where to take my losses. That was ok and I accepted that fact. Also admitting that my past approach currently is not working in a trending market.
