TSLA Trade on Feb 5, 2019 10:32 from boldandnuts: Tradervue User Stock Trades.

TSLA grinded higher with the market. AFter finding a HoD at 320 and pulling back I thought it looked like it put in a Bear-Flag kind of pattern with 319.50 as high for a rollover.

Volume was light though, but TSLA somewhat strong. I traded in and out of a small base position and did not do very well to be honest as I missed my stop on the first trade below 318.

Intention for a backside trade on the reject of 318 on a decision-candle, but I was impatient and did not wait for the candle to close. There was no entry. TSLA broke out. Took a partial loss.

My add wasn't great either. The reject of 320 would have been ok for an add, but I was hesitant while the SPY was still trading higher and not ready for a rollover yet.

Eventually took off half instead of closing it break-even. Bad call. That was the low of the move!

TSLA grinded higher. I had a pivot at 322.50 and when I traded and rejected 322 added on the backside. Good Entry, but still too early. TSLA made another leg up and tested 322.50 pivot.

Tested several times for a final hard spike up and hard reject to just break-down. Selling the 322 level which held as support would have been a perfect place for an add. If I had closed the trade earlier at break-even to re-evaluate and enter back at 322 I would have added here. But this way my average was at 321 and I was not allowed to do so. There was the possibility of TSLA trading even higher and not even pulling back to my average.

TSLA sold off though. Scaled out and made back most of my partial losses.
