-stopped out of trade
-few things wrong here:
-took trade as I was leaving the house for the airport; cannot take trades if i'm leaving desk before 12-1
-did not clearly define where stop loss was, just wanted to get out if trade started going bad; therefore did not obey 30% stop rule and convinced myself to stay in trade whenever price action began to look constructive
-was down on entry, therefore, trade did not immediately work out (my past success have more or less worked out on day 1 - consider cutting trade if it doesn't work out on day 1)
-sentiment was overdone to the long side increasing likelihood of market pull back which is what we got today.
-$401 loss is bigger than avg win - wont grow account if avg loss is always bigger than avg win
-did not do go through trade execution checklist in preparation for this trade

-reviewed this trade again after the market closed - it looks like I got in a bit early, without meaningful support to lean on
-on the day of entry the stock was setting up for a day trade breakout (wedge pattern triggered entry); however, market was overextended and stock was extended above support ($180-181ish)
-FDX fell right back down to the LVN support as market traded down today; and found support as you can see via the wicks on the hourly candle - stock would not trade below $180 (tested level approx 4 times today)

-on 2/8 stock opened down and slid down to be -4% on the day at it's lowest; another reason why it is prudent to follow risk rules (this could have been a really ugly loss)
-still took a much bigger loss than planned (think position size was too big because loss was approx 30% of premium paid even though I didn't get out at the first support area that was broken)
-holding is a NEVER a solution when risk management rules are broken
