According to my broker I have a lag in data when the market opens. For demonstration purposes I traded EA small size out of the Open as I expected a breakout.

My stop-limit order was filled even though I did not see a print even close to my entry for more than 30 seconds after the bell. Very odd. Then it sold off. Me idiot did not take off the trade and let it run against me.

Spend the morning fighting to get out of the position and doing badly trying to. Gambling at its finest. I did not work out in the morning and neglected my daily routine. That is the result. Well deserved loss!

My Entries would have been all decent if it was not for the first entry after which everything went south.

Lesson: Do not trade in the first 3 to 5 minutes after the open. Now I have to develop a habit for it.
