This trade was an excellent trade due to sticking to the trade plan that I originally developed regardless of the loss, however, **I need to remember that in many cases these trades are no longer opening range trades after 10:00 am._ great learning experience! **
This trade was biased Long for me and upon its initially it moved short instead of long, however, I noticed that the stock ran into serious resistance @ the 50 and begun to return to break the opening range high. The stock broke the opening range and provide enough range for the trade entry. On the trade I risked about 45 cents and the stock definitely had enough room to complete the move. What I like most about this trade is that as soon as the stock held below the opening range on the 2 i exited. I continue to focus on maintaining my technical stop instead of rushing to apply the stop and that is allowing me to minimize my losses promptly. For the Orb I will be sticking to this rule. I would argue that if this happens and the stock again breaks out I should re-enter instead of attempting to hold.
